Aluth Avurudu

Sinhala and Tamil New Year is celebrated in April, this year 12th and 13th. That's the time when everything stops in Sri Lanka and also the biggest and longest holiday. Emplyees usually stays home till 28th. The celebration follows all traditions in auspicious time starting with boiling the coconut milk. Families gather together during this festive occasion.
